GERALD RAYMOND GLAZIER
FEBRUARY 19, 1937 – APRIL 20, 2024

It is with both profound sadness and with great regrets that we announce the death of Gerald Raymond Glazier in his 87th year. On April 20th at 4:50pm after a courageous and well fought 6-year health battle, Gerry took his final breath, surrounded by his family and closest friends.

Gerry will be greatly missed and was so deeply loved by his wife of 42 years, Judy Chilvers. His children, Keith (Lisa), Kimberly (Kevin Overholt), Nicole (Nick Varvitsiotis), and Jeffrey Chilvers.

His grandchildren, Cody (Vanessa), Cassandra (Gustav Pietsch), Courtney –Lynn (Devin Turbide), Rachelle, Ariana, Andrew, Conor, Cole and Emily (Jason Nickart).

His great- grand Children Carter, Landon and Benjamin Overholt, who were the apples of his eye.

Gerry was born in London and raised by his maternal family. But as a teen he luckily found a home with Earl and Eileen Woolcott. That is where this horseman was born.
Forever his siblings, The late James, Barbara (Tim Kelly), Irene (Robert Kaufman) and their families.

Gerry was a huge part of the Kennedy clan, Peter (Kendall Christie), Mitch (Joan) their families, Chris (Denise) and so many more.

He will be greatly missed by his dear friend Glen Weeks, and special neighbors Tim Palmer and Walter Haralovich, Ellen Edmonston for taking care of his beloved pony Debbie, Sharon Crawford –Mackay for lending him Little Bit to drive these past few years.

Dad was an avid horseman, who loved many disciplines and breeds of horses. From draft horses, Standardbreds, Haflingers, and Miniature horses. But his passion turned to carriages and all they entailed. He was able to travel around the USA, here at home to help many avid collectors and horseman with showing and restoring. Walnut Hill, Devon, The Royal Winter Fair and many local driving shows that's where he wanted to be.

Gerry was so many things to so many people. His loving heart, great nature and even grumpiness will be his lasting legacy.
