Lynne was my boss for many years at the Robarts School for the Deaf, London in different capacities. In all situations she was fair, calm, thoughtful and elegant!. I learned much from Lynne, who always professed to have learned from me ! ( I knew she was just being nice!) Our years together were among the best of my career as Lynne cared deeply for her colleagues and showed it daily. I know Cheryl would join me in recognizing the contribution that Lynne made in our lives and in the lives of countless children and their families. Our family sends our deepest condolences to Lynne's family and her many dear friends. Lynne was definitely "one of the good ones" John Barry

Condolences to friends and family of Lynne. I was saddened to hear of Lynne's passing after returning from a trip abroad. Lynne was a great boss and and a kind friend as well. I will remember her cat parties and all her cats including the unexpected 15 she had when she lived on the farm outside London. Nana

Sincere sympathy to those closest to Lynne. Lynne and I have been friends for some 58 years. After our retirement from the Robart's School for the Deaf, we kept in touch by phone, through the Book Club, golf, celebrations in her life and mine. I shall miss her infectious laugh and warm smile. Be at peace, Lynne. Donna McGuffin

I golfed with Lynne many times at LLyndinshire and enjoyed her spirit for the game. I was golfing with her just last summer which is a testament to her love of the game. She will be missed.

It was my pleasure to work with Lynne at the Robarts School. She was always kind and supportive and a true encourager. She navigated difficult situations with grace and was always fair. I'm sorry she was ill in her last days. May God's comfort be with her family and close friends.

I was so very sorry to hear of Lynne's passing. I met her years ago in a Tai Chi class. We have been friends ever since and for that I am very grateful. She was a soft spoken, intelligent woman with a twinkle in her eye who could converse on any topic. She loved playing board and card games and dining with friends. She always asked me to carve the turkey and I was very proud to have such an honour bestowed on me. She said I made the best Martini ever. She was so good for the ego with her graciousness. She had a wonderful sense of humour and I hear that gentle laugh echoing in my memory. Enjoy your rest my friend, you lived a life full of friends who will miss you.

Our hearts go out to all those who had Lynne in their lives. She was a lovely, giving soul! We will remember her soft spoken manner, kindness, generosity, and fondness for decorative napkins and celebrations. We will also miss her greeting at the cottage from the bunkie deck "We're having a gin and tonic, would you like one"? Lynne made a delicious gin and tonic! She was always kind and loving to our cat Charlotte as well. Rest well Lynne. We hope there is a football or golf game and a gin and tonic, or good white wine, a good book and some fine cheese and crackers for you up in heaven. We miss you. Love Laura, Mark and Charlotte.
