Grandpa loved three things more than anything in life. Grannie, traveling, and his motorcycle. The two of them were always planning their next trip and spent a lot of time in Barbados together. Even after her passing, Grandpa continued his trips to Barbados and spent countless hours on his motorcycle between his travels. When he wasn’t traveling, he enjoyed taking ballroom dancing lessons and visiting with old friends. As kids, we remember sitting on the motorcycle in the driveway when he would come to visit and the endlessly full candy jars in the house when we visited them. He was a man of few words but he always had stories to tell of his time in warmer temperatures. As a family, we would like to sincerely thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Chelsey Park LTC for the excellent care that they provided Grandpa during his stay. We will miss him dearly but know that he is somewhere with the love of his life enjoying the warm sun and motorcycle rides. Rest easy, Grandpa. We love you.
