Malcolm & Noela Roberts posted a condolence

For the short time we knew you both, while enjoying a cruise, we found Doug to be a gentle, kind-hearted, easy going person. We enjoyed our daily get togethers for the trivia challenge and have kept in contact since. As a devoted husband, father and grandfather his passing will leave a huge void in the family. Rest in Peace Doug. Malcolm & Noela Roberts, Brisbane, Qld, Australia

William R. Livingston posted a condolence

The entire Livingston family shares its profound sadness and great respect at the passing of our cousin Doug Willsie. We would like to honor Doug for a joyful life well lived...a joy he passed along to everyone he met. We remember particularly how kind and interested he was to hear of our family news. We always enjoyed hearing of his latest adventures to faraway places and different cultures (and who could forget that hat!), and we must say that Doug and Marnie have given us the "travel bug" in retirement. Doug will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
Bill and Anne Livingston, Bay City, Michigan, and the entire Livingston family everywhere

To Marnie and the Family: Doug will always hold a special place in my heart. In our youth, there was laughter, joy and a few tears. In our old age, more tears than joy but always laughter. My sincere condolences and sympathy and my family's as well. Love, Judy Clinton

So many shared memories of good times, a man who was adventurous and had a great sense of humor, a great friend and loved life. He is on his next adventure.
